Falling From the Sky

[Bynd]

The ship slashed into calm seawater, rocking a bit before stablizing. "Wha-?" Rue looked around, "We're...we're..."

Wingulls flew over head, the air smelled of salt.

"WE'RE OUT AT SEA!" Rue cheered jumping up, before his injuries caused him to nearly pass out again. There was a large gash in the front of his shell and he was bleeding from it a little.

[Dreamer]

Ari was up in a second, not a scratch on him. "Captain? Are you alright?" He went over to check on Rue.

[Bynd]

Rue hissed and tried to sit up. "Yep. That hurts." He looked down at the gash on his shell. "Hey, that'll probably scar!"

[Dreamer]

Ari nodded.

An Umbreon and Espeon were sailing on a small sailboat. "I told you, it wasn't my fault!" The Umbreon yelled. "It is too!" The Espeon yelled back. The two siblings quarrlled until the sailboat hit the pirate ship.

"Hey! Let us on!" The Umbreon yelled. Ari peered down at the two. "Why should I?" He called down at the two. "I can cook and she can heal!" Ari turned to Rue. "Shall I let them up?"

Rue leaned over the edge of the ship, "Will you join my pirate crew?" He asked rather bluntly.

[Dreamer]

The siblings muttered to each other for a couple minutes before the Umbreon yelled, "Yes!"

[Bynd]

"Okay then!" Rue said falling back down onto the deck. "Ari, throw them a rope."

[Dreamer]

Ari nodded and threw them a rope. They climbed up it(somehow). Espe saw Rue's wounds and gasps. "Here, let's heal you." She said and concentrated. The sun grew brighter and a specific beam going to Rue.

[Bynd]

"Ah, that's better!" Rue said looking down at this healed front. "So who are you?" He asked a little late.

[Dreamer]

"I'm Epse." "And I'm Umbre." The two said. "And you are?" "I'm Ari!" Ari yelled.

[Bynd]

"I'm Captain Rue Rorr, Captain of the best pirates in the world." The Wartortle announced.

Enter Mako!

He had been paying close attention to the ongoing conversation which Mako had identified to be involving an Espeon, Umbreon, a Wartortle, and a Croconaw, apparently. Tipping his head out barely, he took in a breath, and winced when the cool sea breeze brushed against the scar on his fin. His barbs had been retracted, but now seemed like a good time to let them out and hopefully poke something - hard.

Kyogre hadn't come lately, and he was thankful. But yet, some things sounded familiar to him.

Ari.

Ah, he remembered that man...

The pirate crew of which he quit, a long time ago ever since he got hurt badly from the Marine Head. He waggled his fin gently, signalling to the Remoraid - It was go time.

With a strong immense force of a Bubblebeam/Hydro Pump kind of combination, the large stingray-shaped Pokemon leapt into the air, managing to seemingly freeze in his place as he spotted the small Croconaw there. A smug grin plastered on his face, he didn't even wave while held in the air with the sustained water-type attacks hitting the water hard.

'So... which one of you know Oda...?'

Yeah, some history stuff, but mostly we'll play along as Odu has forgotten Mako here. ^^

Just to point out, it's Oda.

"Of course I've heard him, he's my father!" Ari said.

Kaori got out from under deck, after checking how long the suppiles would last before noticing and looking at the Espeon-Umbreon Pair. "I'm Kaori, glad to meet you two." She looked at the Mantine, "And who just might you be?"

'So his son has come to sea too!' he grinned meekly this time, bending down slightly, '...How... amusing.'

'Gardevoir at sea, even more amusing.' He gave a bemused laugh, and lowered himself with the help of the Remoraid, flicking his tail a little incessantly.

'I used to be from the bloke's crew, heh.

'I used to be a traveler before deciding to put my traveling skills to use as a navigator.' Kaori said with a slight bow. 'So you used to from Oda's crew, which means you have quite a lot of experience as a pirate.'

He lowered himself even further, 'Kinda,' he grinned, bending down further, 'Until Marine Head boy came along.'

'Got a large gash from the guy... Highly doubt you'd want to see it,' he gave another smug grin, flapping his fins again to propel himself up further for a while.

Kaori grinned. 'Old Kyogre, ehh?' she asked as a board grew loose under Rue's feet which resulted in him, falling under deck and getting knocked out, but Kaori didn't notice.

'Heh, you might want to get that fixed,' Mako gestured with his head to the loose board, before shrugging, 'Those were the old days, I don't believe I was friends with that bloke intially, heh. But I miss those wonderful days out in the waters (even though I'm always in water), and you know, I think I'll come by with joining, that is, if them captain don'ts mind.'

Kaori's eyes glowed blue as the wood took its rightful place on the deck. 'There, done!'

Rue groaned and opened his eyes. He found himself under the deck. "Hey! Guys! What the heck did ya leave me down here for?!"

Mako looked down at the boards, confused, and shouted, 'Holy shit, talking planks!' He then turned to look at the Gardevoir again, flexing his fins, 'Oh yeah, where is that capn' of yours...?'

[Bynd]

Rue jumped and burst through the repaired wood. He landed on deck then dusted his shell off. "That hurt... Hey what's going on? Who's he?" He asked, pointing at the Mantine.

'He's...' Kaori started to answer as she looked into the Matine's mind for the name. '...Mako.'

'Ouch, now my head hurts, what was with readin' mah mind young lass?' he questioned, 'Well, as said, name's Mako, pirate in the sea. Seeing that I'm looking into a new future out in the deep blue, I shall ask whether I shall join your crew here see.

'Sorry, usually, it doesn't hurt people and unnoticable.' She apologized.

Rue looked at Mako, "So you want to join my crew, huh?" The Wartortle thought for a minute, "Well if you were good enough for Oda, I guess that means you're good enough for me!"

Rue then looked over at Kaori, "What's near here? We never got to get the supplies we wanted."

Kaori made her map and looked at it. 'Closest thing would be the Krabby Resturant and from there we could head to Marble Island.'

'Or you could try and detour back there to Zenigami Port,' Mako decided to interrupt, adding, 'Unless... you don't know any Psychic type move like Teleport, then thats be some trouble you got 'ere. As far as I'm knowing, not the best of 'em goods thats you get out in these murky waters. There are some cannonballs still left in 'em underwater. I coulds fish them up fer you.' He flashed his usual meek yet gentleman-ly grin, dropping into the water briefly before popping out again.

'True. Kaori nodded. 'I can use teleport. Mako, we could also use some extra cannon balls.'
